VANCOUVER BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED

Vancouver, Wash. -- On November 24, 2015 at approximately 1:35 p.m., Vancouver Police responded to a robbery at the Chase bank at 8203 NE Vancouver Mall Drive. A male suspect entered the bank, implied a weapon, demanded money and fled from the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. As the call for the robbery was coming in, police received information that the suspect possibly entered the Westfield Mall. Officers responded to the mall to search for the suspect who was located and taken into custody inside one of the stores shortly thereafter. There were no injuries and the mall remained open during the search.
The suspect, Ted W. Washington III, DOB 07/06/95, was booked into the Clark County Jail for Robbery I.
