Red Cross disaster action team volunteers early this morning responded to a multi-family home fire in the 12100 block of Burbank Road in Monmouth, OR. The affected four adults. The Red Cross provided assistance for temporary lodging, assistance for immediate basic needs, recovery information and disaster health services.

The Red Cross advocates emergency preparedness and offers the installation of free smoke alarms in communities across Oregon and southwest Washington. Residents may call (503) 528-5783 or complete an online form at www.redcross.org/cascadeshfpc to schedule an appointment.
