On November 23, 2015, at approximately 8:00 PM, Red Cross Emergency team members
met with clients who had a residential fire  in the 600 block of Thompson Creek Road in Selma, OR. Red Cross provided assistance for temporary lodging, assistance with immediate basic needs, disaster mental health, and recovery information.

The Red Cross advocates emergency preparedness and offers the installation of free smoke alarms in communities across Oregon and southwest Washington. Residents may call (503) 528-5783 or complete an online form at www.redcross.org/cascadeshfpc to schedule an appointment.
