At 5:40 this evening Portland Fire crews were dispatched to an apartment fire at the 4100 Block of View Point Terrace. Upon arrival crews did a search and found nobody in the apartment. Crews quickly extinguished the fire that was contained to one room. A fire investigator is on scene to determine the cause. Updated cause and damage assessments will be posted here as they become available.
