October 10, 2015 - Ms. Mabe was located at about 1:30 a.m. this morning by a Hood River Sheriff's deputy traveling west on interstate 84. The deputy stayed with Ms. Mabe until family could drive out and bring her home.
October 9, 2015 --The Washington County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help to locate a missing woman suffering from dementia.
At approximately 11:00 a.m., Friday morning, Nancy Mabe, age 71 of Aloha left her home headed for the Beaverton Kaiser Clinic. Ms. Mabe is suffering from dementia, does not drive often and today she drove to the clinic alone. Ms. Mabe made a purchase at the pharmacy and left, presumably for home.
The family contacted the Washington County Sheriff's Office when they were not able to find Ms. Mabe. A search of her credit card transactions shows that she made a gas purchase the evening in Boardman Oregon around 5:00 p.m. and again in Hood River at 8:30 p.m.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office has contacted the local counties and the Oregon State Police in an effort to find Nancy Mabe. The Sheriff's Office is asking the public's help to find Ms. Mabe. She is driving a green 2002 Subaru Forester with Oregon license plate YXT 766. She is 5'4", 132lbs with brown eyes and short gray hair. The family is not sure what clothes she is currently wearing.
