Suspect arrested following stabbing incident

SUSPECT ARRESTED FOLLOWING STABBING INCIDENT

On 10/08/2015 at around 1945hrs Officers were summonsed to a local hospital where a 39 year old, Vancouver resident had just been dropped off. The male had multiple life threatening stab wounds. Vancouver Police Officers were able to obtain a description of the vehicle that had dropped the victim off and had left.
Shortly thereafter Deputy Phil Walker was responding to a possible assault call in the area of 102nd Ave and NE 76th Street. Deputy Walker observed a vehicle matching the description that of the vehicle that had just dropped off the victim. He followed the vehicle to 8102 NE 103th Court Vancouver, WA. Deputy Walker detained the subjects in the car. Detectives from the Clark County Major Crimes Unit and Tactical Detective Unit responded to the scene to assist.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for the scene and adjacent buildings and are currently processing the crime scene at 8102 NE 103rd Court.

The initial investigation revealed probable cause for the arrest of 49 year old, Michael A. Conley of Vancouver. He was arrested for Conspiracy to Commit Attempted Murder in the first degree, Intimidating a Witness and Tampering with a Witness. He was booked early this morning into the Clark County Jail.
The name of victim will not be released today. We are not releasing the condition of the victim. This is an active investigation and no more information will be released at this time.
