Posted on FlashAlert: October 5th, 2015 1:26 PM
The Clark County Sheriff's Office is hosting a free, informational meeting to recruit for our Reserve Deputy program.

The CCSO Reserve Deputy program serves as an integral component of the Sheriff's commitment to serve the citizens of Clark County. CCSO Reserves are commissioned and sworn volunteer Deputies who perform a variety of functions in their capacity. The CCSO Reserve Deputy program is ideal for professional adult men and women who are interested in serving their community in a unique and important way, but are not able to commit to a career in full-time law enforcement. The CCSO Reserve Deputy program is also an opportunity for those interested in a full-time career in law enforcement and want to explore this career while maintaining another profession.

The meeting will be on Wed, October 7, from 6:30-8:00pm at our West Precinct (Public Safety Complex),
505 N.W. 179th St., Ridgefield.
Attendees can learn about the program, Reserve Deputy academy and
the testing process. There will be a limited number of study guides available
for purchase at the meeting, cost is $10. The guide provides
examples of questions on the Reserve Deputy written test. Please bring
exact payment if you wish to purchase a study guide.

The written test will be 9 a.m. Saturday, October 17, also at the West Precinct. This is the last testing opportunity of the year for the January 2016 Reserve Academy.

To RSVP for the orientation email CntySheriff.ReserveUnit@clark.wa.gov or call 360-397-2211 ext. 3380.
