OSP CONTINUING DEATH INVESTIGATION AT MOOLACK BEACH- LINCOLN COUNTY

On October 9, 2015 at about 4:39 p.m., OSP Troopers responded to Moolack Beach in Lincoln County for a death investigation.
According to OSP Lieutenant Justin McGladrey, a male identified as Thomas Robert HERESCO, age 29, of Corvallis, was found unconscious and unresponsive on the beach adjacent to a cliff and US Highway 101 near milepost 135. Medics responded and pronounced HERESCO deceased.
Foul play is not suspected and OSP is continuing the investigation. Next of kin notification was conducted by the Oregon State Police.
OSP Newport Area Command was assisted by Pac West Ambulance, Newport Fire, Lincoln County Medical Examiner's Office and the Lincoln County District Attorney's Office.
