Corrected the name of the driver of the F-350 pickup:
On Thursday October 8, 2015 at about 4:40 a.m., OSP Troopers, Deschutes County Sheriff's Deputies and other emergency personnel responded to the report of a two vehicle crash on US 97 at State Recreation Road, milepost 160, north of La Pine.
Preliminary investigation revealed a maroon 2003 Peterbilt semi-truck and trailer driven by DAVID LEE HENDRICKS age 51, of Idaho was travelling northbound when a white 2001 for F-350 pick-up driven by RICHARD DUREKE MOLLER JR. age 32 of Roseburg travelling southbound crossed the centerline into the path of the 2003 Peterbilt semi-truck.
MOLLER and his passenger WILLIAM HENRY LILES age 46, of Bend were transported to St. Charles Medical Center in Bend and treated for non-life threatening injuries resulting from the crash.
The roadway was partially blocked for about 2 hours while emergency responders rendered first-aid and investigated the collision. OSP was assisted at the scene by Deschutes County Sheriff's Office, La Pine Fire District and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
