CITY OF BEAVERTON BRINGS LEAF DROP-OFF EVENTS TO NEIGHBORHOODS (PHOTO)

BEAVERTON, Ore. - The city of Beaverton is making it easier to dispose of raked leaves this year. Each weekend between Nov. 7 and Dec. 12, residents can bring their leaves to one of the city's drop-off locations. Beaverton's public works crew an d neighborhood volunteers will be on hand to accept the leaves.
Leaves may be bagged (paper preferred but plastic accepted) or unbagged. This is a free service, but the city will be accepting canned and boxed food donations to benefit the Oregon Food Bank.
