The driver of the Subaru has been identified as 23 year old Jesse Gower of Washougal. Jesse was treated at the hospital and released.
The passenger in the Subaru has been identified as 26 year old Moses Morales of Vancouver. Moses is in critical condition at Peace Health Southwest Medical Center.
The driver of the SUV is 50 year old Florentino Contreras of Vancouver. Florentino was treated at the hospital and released.
There is no further information to be released at this time as the investigation is ongoing.

On August 9th at approximately 07:39 there was a collision at the 5500 block of NE Padden Parkway where 78th Street merges with Padden. A westbound Ford SUV was stopped at a red light when it was struck from behind by a Subaru. The driver of the SUV as well as the driver and passenger from the Subaru were transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. At this time their conditions are unknown.
Padden Parkway has been closed to westbound traffic at NE 62nd Ave. Traffic is being rerouted onto NE 88th Street.
This collision is being investigated by the Clark County Traffic Investigation Unit.
There are no further details regarding this investigation or the condition of the motorists to be released at this time.
An update will be forthcoming as soon as possible.
