At about 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Property Crimes Unit conducted a search of a residence at 5028 SE El Centro Way as part of a long-term investigation of burglaries and stolen property associated with persons who live at the residence.

The Clackamas County inter-agency SWAT Team executed a search warrant, and investigators from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Oregon State Police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Clackamas County Parole and Probation conducted the search -- making 3 arrests and recovering a bewildering array of stolen items.

The Aug. 7 search warrant came following the Sheriff's Office's receipt of dozens of complaints from neighbors, as well as contacts by Sheriff's Office Patrol deputies regarding stolen property. Using information from citizens and other sources, investigators were able to develop information that led to obtaining a search warrant for the residence.

When authorities searched the address, they discovered a seemingly random collection of stolen items -- including a former Navy corpsman's seabag and uniforms, a coin-operated carousel, an electric pottery wheel, a bicycle, a chainsaw, boxed tile and other tiling supplies, lighting, a garden hose, and power- and hand tools.

Authorities made 3 arrests during the raid: Shane Roundy, age 26; Amanda McFarland, age 24; and Dan "Pops" Wolf, age 58. They were booked into the Clackamas County Jail on warrants or probation violations. Booking photos are attached.

As the investigation progresses, charges related to theft will be forwarded to the Clackamas County District Attorney's Office.

A tow truck responded to retrieve the stolen carousel because of the size of the item.

Many of the items -- including the Navy corpsman's seabag -- have already been returned to their owners.

The single bicycle that was recovered was positively identified as being stolen, because the victim had provided the serial number to the Milwaukie Police when the report was taken. There were dozens of additional bicycles in the home in various stages of disassembly -- leading investigators to suspect that many of the other bicycles and frames were stolen as well -- but because the serial numbers were not in the national crime information database, they could not be recovered. This serial-number shortcoming points out the importance of recording serial numbers to be reported to the police should an item be stolen.

Photos and video from the scene are attached.
