August 9, 2015--Sheriff's Deputies responded to a possible burglary where the suspect fled in a stolen car. He was located and arrested within minutes.
On August 9, 2015, at 7:20 a.m., Washington County Sheriff's Deputies were called to a reported stolen 1997 Mazda Protege in the 19900 block of SW Monson Street in the community of Aloha. It was reported that the Mazda was taken overnight. The deputy entered the stolen car into the Law Enforcement Data System.
At 11:12 a.m., Sheriff's Deputies were called to the 300 Block of NW 183rd Avenue in Aloha for a possible burglary in progress. It was reported that a man was taking items out of a boarded-up house and placing them into a car. The witness was able to provide a description and license plate on the vehicle the man was loading items into. The information provided matched the Mazda that was reported stolen earlier.
Sheriff's Deputies arrived and found the Mazda driving out of the area and north onto NW 185th Avenue. Deputies performed a high-risk traffic stop on the Mazda at NW185th Avenue and NW Walker Road.
Sheriff's Deputies arrested Alan De Jesus Victoria 23, from Beaverton (photo attached). It is suspected there were several potentially stolen items discovered in the Mazda. Those items have been placed into evidence while the owners are located.
Mr. Victoria was lodged in the Washington County Jail, charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Trespass and Criminal Mischief. He is held on $12,500 bail. There is the possibility of additional charges as the investigation continues.
