This afternoon at 1:07 pm, Portland Firefighters were called to an apartment at 11338 SW Capitol Highway. Arriving crews found the fire in an apartments' attic. Crews worked to extinguish the fire while confirming that no one was in side the duplex style apartments. The residents were away and no injuries were associated with this fire.
The fire was extinguished and crews began searching for hot spots. A fire investigator was called and will be working to determine the cause of this fire. Damage estimates are still being determined.
