Gresham, Ore. - On August 26 at about 4:55 a.m., officers responded to an armed robbery call at the Plaid Pantry, 18014 SE Stark Street. Brandishing a handgun, a group of three men robbed the clerk of an undisclosed amount of money and tobacco products. The masked men immediately fled the area on foot.

After reviewing surveillance video and interviewing witnesses, officers and detectives located the three suspects later in the morning in the area of SE 190th Avenue and SE Yamhill Street, Gresham. Two of the suspects were hiding in a nearby vacant apartment. The men were arrested without further incident and evidence from the robbery, including a replica firearm, was recovered.

Portland residents Damien Brumfield and Leandre Moore, both 19-years-old, were booked on charges of Robbery in the Second Degree and Criminal Trespass in the First Degree. Moore, who has a prior conviction for robbery, is also being held for violating his parole. The third suspect, juvenile Deontre Mallet, 16, was booked on Robbery in the Second Degree.
