Vancouver, Wash. - On 07/23/15 at approximately 4:02 a.m., Vancouver Police were dispatched to the 900 block of W 16th St for a reported vehicle fire. The cause of the vehicle fire was undetermined and it appeared to be an abandoned vehicle.

Shortly thereafter, Vancouver police were notified of a dumpster fire at 1110 W 17th St, which was less than a block away from the vehicle fire. When emergency crews arrived they also located a garbage can on fire that was sitting next to the building. There was no damage to the interior of the building.

Surveillance video captured images of three subjects walking East on 17th St. (from the direction of the vehicle fire) and also waking down the loading bay driveway of a business(near the location where the dumpster was burning).

This series of fires is being investigated as arson.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #: female wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants.

Suspect #2: male with dark hooded sweatshirt with writing on the front and baseball hat/dark pants. This subject is seen holding some type of bottle in his hands.

Suspect #3: male wearing light colored, short sleeved t-shirt with a picture on the front.

Anyone with information on the identity of any/all of the suspects is asked to contact Vancouver Police Arson Investigator Dave Chamblee at (360) 487-7400 Ext. 3155 or at david.chamblee@cityofvancouver.us.
