Disaster assistance team volunteers from the American Red Cross Cascades Region provided help following a single-family home fire in Salem, OR Friday evening (July 31). Two adults and one pet were affected by the fire in the 700 block of Judson Street SE. Red Cross provided information on local hotels and disaster recovery.
The Red Cross advocates emergency preparedness and offers the installation of free smoke alarms in communities across Oregon and southwest Washington. Residents may call (503) 528-5783 to schedule an appointment.
