PORTLAND FIRE & RESCUE RESPONDS TO A HOUSE FIRE IN NORTH EAST

Portland Fire & Rescue crews responded to reports of a house fire at 51st Avenue and NE Fremont Street. The fire started in some shrubs between two homes. The majority of the damage was contained to the exterior siding of one home. Crews checked the inside of the home to assure everyone was out and that the fire had not spread to the attic. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
