Vancouver, Wash. -- On May 27, 2015 at approximately 4:46 a.m., Vancouver Police responded to a robbery in progress with shots fired at the Circle K located at 2721 E Fourth Plain Blvd. A male suspect entered the store wearing a gas mask, pointed a firearm at the clerk and robbed the store. The clerk's friend who was in the store at the time of the robbery, and who was armed with a firearm, followed the suspect outside. As he's being followed, the suspect turns around and points his firearm at the clerk's friend who then fires multiple shots at the suspect. It is unknown if any rounds hit the suspect. The suspect then runs toward an awaiting vehicle and flees the area. Neither the friend nor the clerk was injured.

The suspect is described as a white male, 18-25, 5'6-5'7, thin build, last seen wearing black leather jack, blue jeans, and a gas mask.

The vehicle the suspect fled in is described as a white mid-90's Honda Accord, 2dr with black molding extending horizontal on door, no sunroof (photo is of a similar vehicle, not the actual vehicle).

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Vancouver Police Detective Neil Martin at (360) 487-7423 or neil.martin@cityofvancouver.us.
