Portland Fire & Rescue was called to an animal rescue this morning at Forest Park. The canine, which weighs roughly 100 pounds, had fallen down an embankment and suffered a broken leg. The owner managed to get the dog back up to the trail, where firefighters treated it and prepared it for transport.
