PF&R RESPONDS TO A HOUSE FIRE (5403 SE 115TH)

4/7/2015-This morning at 5:55 AM Portland Firefighters were called to a house at 5403 SE 115th. The first unit on scene noted thick black smoke issuing from several windows. Fire crews began searching for the fire and working to ensure that no one was trapped inside.
The fire was located on the second floor and it was knocked down. No victims were found inside and no injuries were associated with this fire. An investigator was called to determine the cause of the fire. Cause and damage estimates will be furnished (by request) when they are released. This release will be updated with pictures if any are available.
A family of four (two adults and two children) has been displaced by this fire. The Red Cross will be assisting with shelter and any other needs.
