The Oregon City Police Department will be conducting a Pedestrian Safety Operation on Tuesday April 21st, 2015. This operation will be held on 7th St. near John Adams St. in Oregon City, OR between the hours of 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.

The primary focus of this operation is to raise pedestrian safety awareness. Through the use of a decoy pedestrian, who will be a police officer, the Oregon City Police Department hopes to raise awareness of drivers and pedestrians through education and enforcement of the pedestrian right away laws. Warning signs will be posted prior to entering the pedestrian safety operation zone.

The members of the Oregon City Police Department are dedicated to enhancing the safety of both citizens and guests of the city. Funding for the pedestrian safety operation is made possible through a grant from Oregon Impact.
