MISSING PERSON LOCATED DECEASED

On 04/08/2015 at around 1645hrs a citizen discovered a body matching the description of missing person Ryan Mayer, 27 yoa, from Vancouver. Ryan was located in a heavily wooded green space in the Mt. Vista area of Clark County. Ryan was last seen leaving his residence just west of 20th Ave off of 150th Street on 03/14/2015. He was said to have been under the influence of drugs after being sober for almost one year, until this apparent relapse.
Family and friends had not seen or heard from him since March 14th. In the last few weeks family members were working with the Major Crimes Unit of the Clark County Sheriff's Office and using social media in an attempt to locate Ryan.
Sergeant Kevin Allais stated, "Sadly, the family of Ryan wanted to thank the community, family and friends for their support and assistance since Ryan's disappearance."
Cause of death and positive identification will be for forthcoming from the Medical Examiner's office.
