On 04-14-15, at around 6:00 a.m., Milwaukie Police, with the assistance of the Clackamas County inter-agency SWAT team, executed a search warrant at 9819 SE 17th Avenue in Milwaukie, in regards to on-going investigations of property crimes by 41-year-old Wanda Lovie Howard.

Ms. Howard is currently has 2-Felony warrants for her arrest; Fail to appear (traffic offense) out of Clackamas County, and attempt to elude by vehicle out of Multnomah County. The SWAT team was used due to Ms. Howard's elude history.

The SWAT team ultimately made entry into the residence and Ms. Howard was taken into custody. She was located hiding in the attic. No one was injured during entry.

SE 17th Avenue was briefly shut down in both directions during the incident between SE Highway 224 and SE Milport, but has since re-opened.

Ms. Howard will be lodged at Clackamas County Jail on her warrants.
