April 12, 2015 - Deputies responded to an injury crash on Old Cornelius Pass Road. The vehicle cras hed through a fence and into a yard. The driver was cited for DUII.
On Sunday April 12, 2015 at 12:53 p.m., Washington County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a reported single vehicle rollover crash with injuries. Upon arrival, deputies located a 2001 Toyota pickup driven by Mathew White, age 30 of Hillsboro, which had crashed into a yard located at 9412 Old Cornelius Pass Road. Witnesses reported that prior to the crash, Mr. White was driving faster than the posted speed limit.
After the crash, Mr. White was able to exit his truck on his own power and needed treatment by EMS for injury to his head. He was transported to Emanuel Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
During the investigation deputies determined that Mr. White was driving while intoxicated. Mr. White was criminally cited at the hospital for DUII.
