American Red Cross disaster action team volunteers this afternoon responded to a multi-family home fire in the 4300 block of Forsythia St. in Springfield, OR. This disaster affected three adults and three children. Red Cross provided food, clothing, seasonal garments, lodging, and information about recovery and disaster mental health services.

The Red Cross advocates emergency preparedness and suggests taking a few moments to review your family's exit plan should there be a fire in your home.
