Wanted suspect arrested by Clark County K9

On 3.5.15 at approx 7:00 PM Clark County Deputies were requested to assist the United States Marshall Service and members of the regional Career Criminal Apprehension Team arrest a wanted subject. The subject; Tracy L. Montgomery 8.14.84; was identified as sitting in a vehicle at the Chevron gas station in the 600 block of NE 99th St.

The subject stepped out of the vehicle and failed to follow commands from law enforcement. He attempted to run from the vehicle to avoid arrest. Orders were given for the subject to stop, he refused.

Clark County Sheriff's Office K9 "Ringo" was released and quickly captured the fleeing suspect. He was taken in to custody without further incident.

Tracy was treated for abrasions and K9 contact at local hospital then booked into the Clark County Jail for a Probation Violation out of Oregon.
