PF&R FIREBOAT PULLS JUMPER FROM THE WILLAMETTE

3/3/2015-This afternoon at 4:23 PM Portland Fire responded to the Steel Bridge. Witnesses reported that a woman had jumped from the bridge and was in the water. A fireboat from nearby Station 21 arrived and found the woman floating unconscious. She was pulled from the water as she began to submerge.
The patient was taken to the dock at Station 21 and transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment and evaluation. The woman regained consciousness as she was moved into the ambulance.
