At 9:16am Clackamas Fire District # 1 was dispatched to a report of a vehicle into the water at the Oak Grove boat ramp. Crews arrived on scene to have a nearby fisherman report that he heard a vehicle go into the water. Water rescue crews were immediately dispatched to the scene. Divers located the vehicle 27 feet below the surface and the drivers body was recovered 45 minutes later. It is unknown at this time what caused the vehicle to go into the water; Clackamas County Sheriff's Deputies are still investigating the incident.

Clackamas Fire District # 1 was assisted by the following agencies: Gladstone Fire, Lake Oswego Fire, Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue, AMR and Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.
