The vehicle involved in the fatal crash is a 2002 Maserati M128.

The driver of the vehicle that crashed early Monday morning has been identified as Cory Ryan Leonard, 35, of Clackamas.

The passenger who died in the crash is identified as Walter Lawrence Cuenca, 58, of Antioch, California.

The investigation is ongoing, and findings will be forwarded to the Clackamas County District Attorney's Office.

EARLIER (Feb. 16, 2015, 9:02 a.m.)

At 12:03 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, a caller reported finding a car upside-down on SE Jennings Rd. near SE Jade Ct., which is just east of SE Oatfield Rd. in Clackamas County. Deputies arrived at the crash minutes later and found two people trapped inside the vehicle.

Clackamas Fire arrived and extracted the driver from the vehicle. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was transported to a local hospital.

Deputies investigating the crash learned alcohol and speed were contributing factors in the crash. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Clackamas County Detectives and the Criminal Reconstruction and Forensic Team (CRAFT) responded and are assisting in the investigation.

The names of those involved are not being released at this time pending family notifications.
