On February 21, 2015 at about 10:33 PM Oregon City Police responded to a Robbery call near Chevron Gas Station on Molalla Ave and Mt. View Ln. Patrol officers arrived at the scene, finding an 18 year old male and female victim who had been robbed at knife point, while they were parked behind the Chevron gas station. The male victim sustained cut wounds from the suspect during the robbery. He was transported to OHSU for his injuries and later released. The suspect fled on foot before police were called .

The Oregon City Police Department assisted by Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, West Linn Police, and Gladstone Police began an immediate search for the armed suspect. At about 11:06 PM Oregon City Police K9 Mac located the suspect hiding in the back yard of a residence not far from the original crime scene. The suspect was safely taking into custody.

The suspect was identified as 22 year old Humberto Diaz Trujillo out of Oregon City. Humberto Diaz Trujillo was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail for Robbery I, Assault II, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine with a bail of $530,000.
