MULTIPLE INJURY CRASH ON S REDLAND RD NEAR S LYONS RD (PHOTO)

At approximately 6:08pm Friday, February 20, 2015 Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Deputies responded to an injury traffic crash on S Redland Rd near S Lyons Rd in Clackamas County.
Initial reports were two vehicles crashed head-on and there were multiple injuries.
An 18 year old female from Oregon City was extracted from one of the vehicles, a Saturn coupe, and transported to the Hospital. She later died at the hospital.
The second vehicle, a Hummer H3, had two occupants. The male driver, 58 years old of Oregon City, was transported to the hospital and then released. A 7 year old male juvenile was the passenger and was taken by Lifeflight to the hospital and is still listed critical condition. The male juvenile was reportedly unrestrained in the vehicle.
The Clackamas County Criminal Reconstruction and Forensic Team (CRAFT) assisted with the crash investigation. Initial investigations show the Saturn veered into the oncoming lane.
The names of those involved will not be released until Monday pending notifications.
