Gresham, Ore. - As the investigation into this morning's shooting in the 19100 block of East Burnside Road continues, detectives no longer believe it is gang related. According to police, a 25-year-old man was shot one time around 1:17 a.m., by a person known to him. The shooting appears to have been accidental. All involved parties have been identified and are participating in the investigation.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was transported to an area hospital. His current condition is not known. No criminal charges have been filed at this time and no other information is available.
