All southbound lanes of Interstate 205 opened about 12:15 p.m. following Thursday morning's minor injury crash north of Stafford Road.
On October 9, 2014 at approximately 10:50 a.m., two vehicles were involved in a rear-end collision near milepost 4. The impact pushed one vehicle into the rear of a semi-trailer stopped on the shoulder. Approximately 90 gallons of diesel spilled from a punctured diesel tank on the roadway. One persons reportedly was taken by a private party to an area hospital for a medical evaluation.
All lanes were blocked and traffic was diverted onto the shoulder until all lanes were opened after ODOT and fire personnel cleaned up the spill.
Names of involved drivers are not available for this release. No citations were issued at this time.
