GRESHAM POLICE DEPARTMENT TO SPONSOR LANDLORD TRAINING

Gresham, Ore.- The Gresham Police Department's Neighborhood Enforcement Team is inviting landlords of rental properties to attend a free day of informational training on Wednesday, November 12, 2014. This training is aimed at helping owners and landlords identify and deter illegal activity that is occurring on their properties.
The training will be held in the city council chambers of the school district building located at 1333 NW Eastman Parkway in Gresham. The day will begin promptly at 8:00 AM and will run until 5:00 PM with a working lunch that will be provided by the City of Gresham. During this working lunch we will have a question and answer session with the Gresham Police Department, the Gresham Fire Department, the City of Gresham Code Enforcement officers, the City of Gresham's Rental Housing staff members and employees of the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office. Parking will be available in the main City Hall parking lot and in the fenced parking lot on the west side of the Police Department.
Please note that seating is limited so please register as soon as possible. Email Gresham Police Department Neighborhood Enforcement Team Officer Jim Leake at james.leake@greshamoregon.gov to register and please include the following information: number of people attending and their names (to appear on certificates), email address, phone number, rental company name, property address, number of units responsible for and if there are
any dietary restrictions.
