UPDATED RELEASE as of 10-2-14 @ 12:15 PM

On 10-2-2014 the Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force and the Southwest Washington Regional SWAT team executed a search warrant at 7120 NE 131st Avenue as part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking from the residence. The SWAT team was utilized as a result of pre-warrant planning that indicated a high risk to law enforcement due to the number of individuals believed to be living at the home, their history of past involvement with law enforcement, and other intelligence information obtained during the investigation.

The warrant was executed at about 6:00 AM and necessitated the closing of NE 131st Avenue between NE 76th St and NE Fourth Plain Road. The road remained closed until approximately 7:15 AM when the home was finally secured by the SWAT team. During the initial entry, and over the next hour, 19 individuals were located in the home. Of those 19, 12 were arrested and booked at the Clark County Jail on various charges including outstanding arrest warrants, probation violations, and drug charges.

The drug task force had been investigating drug trafficking from this home for several months and today's search warrant was for the purpose of obtaining additional evidence of drug trafficking from the residence. The search revealed evidence consistent with drug trafficking including digital scales, packaging materials, and records of drug transactions. Small amounts of heroin and methamphetamine were also located. All of this evidence will be submitted to the Clark County Prosecuting Attorney for possible additional charges related to the delivery of controlled substances and the maintaining of a drug house.

"I think this is an unofficial record for the most number of people located at a single search warrant location," said drug task force commander Mike Cooke. "Unfortunately, as we continue to experience high levels of heroin addiction, I think we'll continue to see homes like this, which are basically drug dens."

The following 12 individuals were arrested and booked at the Clark County Jail.

Misener, Katelynn M 01/31/1990 - Booked - Possession of a Controlled Substance-Heroin
Lawrence, Lindze L 08/22/1988 - Booked - District Court arrest warrant
