PORTLAND FIRE & RESCUE RESPONDS TO RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE FIRE

Firefighters responded this morning to a residential structure fire at 5859 SE Harney Drive.
Seeing no smoke or flames from
the exterior, crews entered the home and located the fire in a second story bedroom. Firefighters then searched the building confirming that all residents had safely evacuated. The fire was brought under control within minutes and recalled shortly thereafter.
An ambulance was called to the scene and later released as nobody was hurt by this fire.
Cause is under investigation and damage estimates are pending.
