SEARCH WARRANT LEADS TO MULTIPLE ARRESTS - METHAMPHETAMINE SEIZED

On August 6, 2014, Detectives from the Canby Police Department arrested Wallace Scott Shephard, Male, White, with a date of birth of 02/28/74 and Jennifer Kayleen Shephard, Female White, with a date of birth of 06/24/86, for the following crimes:

* One count of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine);
* One count of Distribution of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine);
* One count of Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine).

The arrest of Wallace and Jennifer Shephard was the result of a Clackamas County search warrant that was executed at their residence, an apartment complex, located at 14155 Beavercreek Road, Apt. #211, Oregon City, Oregon. The Canby Police Department's Tactical Entry Team assisted with the safe and successful execution of this search warrant. Both subjects were placed into custody without incident and there were no reported injuries as part of this police action.

This search warrant and arrests were the result of a criminal investigation by members of the Canby Police Department involving the sale and distribution of the controlled substance, Methamphetamine, in the immediate vicinity of the City of Canby.

After conducting a search, detectives seized over one-quarter pound of Methamphetamine, over $1,400 in cash, packaging materials commonly used for the distribution of illicit drugs, and a .380 Ruger semi-automatic handgun.

Wallace Shephard and Jennifer Shephard were transported to the Clackamas County Jail.
