Oregon State Police (OSP), with the assistance of Clackamas County Sheriff's Office and Oregon City Police Department, are beginning the investigation into an early Saturday morning pedestrian-involved fatal crash on Highway 213 at Meyers Road in Oregon City. The highway is closed for the investigation with a detour in place.

Preliminary information indicates on August 16, 2014 at approximately 1:06 a.m., OSP was notified that Oregon City Police Department was on scene of a fatal pedestrian-involved crash on Highway 213 at Meyers Road. An adult female was reportedly struck by a vehicle and the involved male driver is cooperating with investigators.

No names or other information to be released at this time. An update news release will be sent later today when information is authorized for release.
