PORTLAND FIRE & RESCUE RESPONDS TO THIRD RESIDENTIAL FIRE OF THE DAY. (3110 NE 33RD)

News Release from Portland Fire & Rescue
Posted on FlashAlert: August 18th, 2014 5:40 PM
This evening at 5:13 pm firefighters were called to a house at 3110 NE 33rd. When they arrived firefighters from Station 28 (Rose City/Hollywood) observed fire from the porch and smoke from the first floor windows. The occupants of the house were outside and safe.

Fire crews began attacking the fire and found a majority of the fire to be confined to the porch. The fire was extinguished and the smoke was removed from the structure using fans. Incident Commanders called for a Fire Investigator and began the "overhaul" process (searching for hidden fire). The Fire Investigator will work to determine the cause of this fire and to estimate damages. This press release will be updated when that information is available. This release will also be updated with any images that are made available by PF&R photographers.
