ODOT: Valley, No. Coast: U.S. 20 is closed in both directions near the Santiam Summit (milepost 81.5) following a multi vehicle crash that resulted in major injuries and a fatality. Law enforcement is investigating the crash and is doing a reconstruction. The highway will be closed indefinitely. There is no reasonable detour so motorists are advised to avoid the area or expect long delays.
