UPDATE: MISSING GRESHAM MAN FOUND SAFE IN SEATTLE

Gresham, Ore. - Gary Gochnour, 76, has been located and is safe in Seattle, Wash. Thanks to media coverage, police received several valuable tips from people who had recent contact with Gochnour. Gochnour was originally supposed to arrive in Seattle on Feb. 21, but had not been heard from since leaving Gresham on Feb. 19.
Gochnour contacted his family in Seattle around 10:30 this morning. It is not known exactly where he was for the past two weeks, but his family is relieved to hear from him. According to one witness, Gochnour appears to have been in Seattle, with the U-Haul truck, for several days and was looking for a home to rent.
