Oregon State Police (OSP) is seeking witnesses to Friday night's serious injury hit and run crash on Highway 30 east of Astoria. The suspect driver has not been positively identified. No witnesses to the crash were contacted at the scene. Any witnesses to the crash or who may have arrived on sc ene shortly after the crash happened but haven't spoken to OSP are asked to call OSP at 800-452-7888.

Oregon State Police (OSP) is asking for the public's help to identify the driver of a vehicle that fled the scene of a two-vehicle serious injury traffic crash Friday night on Highway 30 about eight miles east of Astoria.
According to Lieutenant Andrew Merila, preliminary information indicates on February 28, 2014 at approximately 9:20 p.m., a 2002 Dodge Neon with three occupants was traveling on Highway 30 near milepost 88 when a gray 1996 Honda Passport sport utility vehicle with Oregon license plates crossed the centerline and collided head-on with the Dodge Neon.
The driver of the Honda Passport, which has a fox decal on the rear window, fled the scene on foot. Investigating OSP troopers think that based upon crash damage the driver may have been injured. Information also indicates traffic was heavy at the time of the crash and witnesses may have not spoken to investigating troopers or may have picked up the driver and were unaware of the person's direct involvement in the crash. Troopers don't know if the driver was male or female.
The Dodge's driver, ABRAHAM P. KORPOH, age 22, from SE Portland, was transported by LifeFlight to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center with critical injuries. The Dodge's two female passengers were transported by Medix ambulance with non-life threatening injuries to Columbia Memorial Hospital in Astoria. They are identified as OLIVIA TOKSTAD, age 21, from Dundee, and KAMAH P. HARTWELL, age 22, from SE Portland.
The highway was closed for an hour before being opened to one lane.
OSP was assisted at the scene by Clatsop County Sheriff's Office, Knappa Fire Department and ODOT.
