Disaster Volunteers responded to assist residents displaced by a fire that occurred in the 300 block of West 5th Ave. in Eugene. Immediate help was provided to one adult (and two pets) by providing food, clothing, shoes, a comfort kit and information about disaster mental health and disaster health services.
The volunteers will be meeting with additional residents later in the day.
