At 8:32pm PF&R crews were dispatched to the scene of a storage facility fire at 5324 SE 111th. Crews had some difficulty with access to the property due to it's location off of the dispatched address. When crews arrived they found the facility fully involved and had to make the potential for fire spread to surrounding buildings an early priority. No residents or pets were inside the storage facility and no injuries were reported. Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire but noted several times that there was a large amount of contents inside, mostly beds and household furniture. Relatives of the homeowners had recently been storing furniture there. Fire investigators are on the scene now to determine a cause and damage assessment. Updates will follow when available.
