ODOT: Valley, No. Coast: OR 18 is closed in both directions 3 miles east of Sheridan after a one vehicle crash in to a power pole that resulted in a fatality. Law enforcement has the road closed for an investigation and reconstruction. The utility is also on the scene to repair the pole and power line. Motorists should expect a lengthy closure. A detour has been set up for both eastbound and westbound traffic using Christenson Road. Expect delays.
