ESTACADA MAN STABBED, SUSPECT IN CUSTODY

On 03/02/14 at about 10PM a citizen flagged down a passing Clackamas County Sheriff's Deputy near the intersection of SE Main Street and SE 3rd Avenue in Estacada to report a man had just been stabbed.
The victim, Travis Pearch, was found stabbed multiple times near the intersection of S Broadway Street and SW 3rd Avenue. He was transported to OHSU by LifeFlight, where he is in critical condition.
There was a disturbance reported between the suspect, the victim, and possibly others. The suspect, Joshua Black, was arrested at gunpoint by Sheriff's Deputies when he came out of a nearby apartment.
The Sandy Police Department provides police services to the City of Estacada and is investigating the incident. Joshua Black will be charged with Assault I and transported to the Clackamas County Jail.
