The City of Beaverton is partnering with the Beaverton Farmers Winter Market to celebrate St. Patrick's Day weekend with musical and dance performances on Saturday, March 15 from noon to 1:30 p.m., with opening remarks from Mayor Denny Doyle beginning at 11:55 a.m.
"Our Beaverton St. Patrick's Day Celebration is a vibrant, family-friendly event that brings our community closer together," said Mayor Denny Doyle. "I'd like to give a special thank you to the Beaverton Farmers Market, whose partnership made this event possible."
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
* 11:55 a.m. - Welcome by Mayor Denny Doyle
* 12 p.m. - Live Irish music by Hanz Araki (flute and vocals), Seamus Egan (tenor banjo), Cary Novotny (guitar and vocals), and Joe Trump (percussion)
* 12:30 p.m. - Intricate dance performance by the Molly Malone Dance Troupe
* 1 p.m. - Sam Keator of S & A Irish Entertainment hosts an Irish dance demonstration with audience participation.
