VANCOUVER BANK ROBBED

On February 11, 2014 at approximately 2:55 p.m., Vancouver Police responded to a bank robbery at Sterling Bank (6501 E. Mill Plain Blvd.). The suspect entered the bank, demanded cash and fled the bank on foot. No weapon seen or implied.

Both Marshall Elementary School and McLoughlin Middle School were locked down briefly while police were in the area. Vancouver Police responded to the surrounding area and a K9 track was conducted however, the suspect was not located.

The suspect is described as a white male, slim build, 5'10", late 30s/early 40s, wearing a wig, dark blue or black athletic pants, dark blue or black jacket with 'rubbery' material and construction style shoes/boots.
