Gresham, Ore -Gresham police officers were able to rescue a man from a Gresham apartment who was held for several days against his will. The man is not seriously injured and is speaking to investigators. Four are in custody and are being questioned related to the case. This case is ongoing and no further information is going to be released.

The case began when police received information about a man possibly being held against his will in a Gresham apartment. Investigators were able to verify some of the information and believed it to be credible. Because of the possibility that one of the suspects was armed, the East Metro SWAT team was activated and responded to the apartment in the 700 block of S.E. 193rd at about 12:10 p.m. The team entered the apartment and encountered the victim who verified that he was held against his will. They were able to rescue him and detain four others as the investigation continues.
